| 200 g | floury potatoes, peeled and diced |
| 100 g | carrots, diced |
| 1 | small onion, diced |
| 60 ml | olive oil |
| 60 ml | unsweetened soy milk |
| 4 tbsp | nutritional yeast |
| 1 tbsp | lemon juice |
| 1 tsp | dijon mustard |
| 1 tsp | garlic powder |
| 1 tsp | fine sea salt |
| 1/4 tsp | ground turmeric, for colour |
| 1/4 tsp | smoked paprika |
| 30 g | breadcrumbs, optional, for topping |

British cooking note
